Why iFiction is Free to Authors

I'm starting this because I think it'll be a useful service to authors and help increase the amount of fiction readable on the net. I have no idea how popular iFiction will prove to be, so I'm not charging for it.

Thus, I'm running it using what I call the "Nyx model", where those who feel the service is useful and who feel the urge donate to keep it up can do so. If you don't have the urge to make a donation, no problems, no worries.

The easiest way to donate is to use the Critters donation form, which has a lot more information on the "Nyx model."

Just to be clear, you're under no obligation to donate.
